IMSs Magnetising service

IMS offers a magnetising service for all types of magnet material.

Our new magnetising facility can generate field strengths of 40,000 Oersteds within a coil of diameter 200 mm x 300 mm long - high enough to fully saturate all your magnet products.

Typical magnetising field strengths for common magnet materials are:

Ferrite (Anisotropic)

1000 kA/m (12000 Oe)

Alnico

500 kA/m (6000 Oe)

Samarium Cobalt

2000 kA/m (24000 Oe)

Neodymium Iron Boron

3500 kA/m (40000 Oe)

As you can see, all are well within the capacity of our machines. We can design and build what you need to do that special job.
